Canada’s economy is stronger when it moves as one, but fragmented regulations still slow the flow of goods, services, and labour across provincial borders. Our new paper calls for a single national system of mutual recognition, which can unlock up to $200 billion a year in growth, strengthen domestic resilience, and boost global competitiveness.
The Board calls on the federal, provincial, and territorial governments to jointly create a Canada-wide legislative framework that:
