With so many visionary leaders in our midst, we couldn’t choose just one. This year marks the return of our acclaimed Toronto Talks—brief, bold presentations by three of our region’s most influential and dynamic leaders. Our first speaker, Teresa Resch, is the President of WNBA Toronto, the league's first international franchise and Canada's first female professional basketball team. Teresa has been a global leader in sports for nearly 20 years, having held positions at Disney, Life Time Fitness and the NBA before becoming a senior executive with the Toronto Raptors. Now, as WNBA Toronto's inaugural president, she's making sports history, building a new franchise from the ground up ahead of its debut in 2026.
